COLDPLAY star CHRIS MARTIN fears the day record label bosses will force him to launch a solo career - because he's convinced he'll fail if he has to go it alone.
The singer/songwriter rose to fame as the frontman of the British group in 2000.
Martin has since branched out to collaborate with rappers like Jay-Z and Kanye West, but admits he would be terrified if he was forced out of the band.
He says, "If you stick together, nothing's a problem. That's why I live in fear of being told to go solo, or one of the rest of the band leaving.
"Unless you have your squadron, you're stuffed."
